Shillito is a Yorkshire based accessories brand founded by Amelia Chester.

The collection takes inspiration from vintage bags and traditional workwear, reimagined for modern life. Each design is made to be useful, hardwearing and enduring, the kind of piece that gets better with use.

With a design career spanning fashion, luxury, high street and costume, Amelia has always been drawn to craftsmanship.

The name Shillito was Amelia’s grandmother’s maiden name. A Yorkshire family ancestral name with roots in ropemaking. That heritage of Yorkshire, craft, function and durability runs through everything we make and continues to influence the aesthetic and ethos of the brand. Shillito reflects a belief in the value of well made things, products designed to be used, repaired and enjoyed for years.
